What Does It Mean to Raise Your Vibration? How and Why Should You Do It?

Everything in the universe is always in motion. Even the objects that seem to be motionless are, in fact, vibrating, at various frequencies. Including you and me. Ever read this “good vibes only” in yet another Tinder profile? (I did!). But does it actually make any sense? What does it mean to raise your vibration?

What is my vibration?

To answer this question, let’s dive deep into classic physics for a bit. I am sure you remember that all matter is made of atoms, super small particles that we can’t even see with the most advanced microscopes.

But inside the atoms, there’s the whole universe of even smaller particles: protons, neutrons, and electrons. And those are made of even smaller ones. Quarks, gluons, and possibly a bunch of others that we don’t know much about yet. 

Those tiny particles are rapidly moving around, they are vibrating.

If it’s still hard to imagine, think about it: you can’t see the Wi-Fi, but you can pick it up on your devices. The same goes for mobile connections, satellite TV, radio broadcasting and more. Even though you can’t see or hear those frequencies, they exist (and making the job done given that you have an appropriate receiver and transmitter in place).  

So now, let’s get back to the question about YOUR vibrations. Think for a minute and try to remember how does it feel when you are happy? How does your body feel? How does this state impact your productivity? And does it affect the way you communicate with others?

And now, recall how you feel when you are worried, sad, depressed, or angry. Do you feel heavy? Does this feeling expand within you and bring frustration and sense of being stuck? 

Well, all those feelings it’s you picking up on your different vibrations. We all vibrate at a different frequency at all times. The lower the rate, the heavier your energy, and the larger your problems seem. And the opposite is true too. 

Can someone feel my energy?

Have you ever walked into the room and felt that something is off? 

I remember one of the most energetically unpleasant experiences in my life was during my trip to Budapest. For some reason, I decided to go to the Holocaust museum. And I felt so so miserable there. Because I was picking up on all the pain that people experienced being trapped in those walls many years ago.

So, empaths and sensitive people can definitely sense your energy. And when it’s at extreme levels (very happy or very upset), even low-empathy people can pick up on that energy. What does it mean to vibrate at a high frequency?

Vibrating at a high frequency makes you feel lighter, happier, and full of love. And that’s just to name a few. You are more inclined to see the positives.

You can appreciate and be grateful for everything happening with you, and that opens you up to the positive energy that you want to flow your way. When you are at this higher level of feeling and sensing, life can be euphoric, abundant, peaceful, and satisfying. 

What happens when you raise your vibration?

Our reality is a product of our thoughts, our vibration. So it’s just as simple as that: high vibration manifests positive results, a low vibration manifests bad results. If things seemed to be going well and suddenly it changed for the worse, most likely it’s because you’ve lowered your vibration.

A high vibration is related to quick learning, better memory, fast problem solving, and creativity. And in this state, you will be attracting more high vibrational events, people, and experiences.

How do I vibrate at a higher level?

The power of being human is that there’s always a choice. Ultimately it’s your personal decision: would you like to vibrate lower or higher, to manifest whatever is that you want into your life.

But let’s go through more tips.

The sense of gratitude is one of the easiest ways to boost up your vibration. Try it right now – think of what you might be thankful for (and there is always something). It might be the blue sky you can see from your window. Or a beautiful flower that is sitting on your desk. Or the smell of coffee that you can make any time at the comfort of your house. So many things to be grateful for. 

Another way to raise your vibration is to feel love (it’s actually even more potent than gratitude). Think about someone you love, imagine this person sitting next to you and share your feeling. Love is one of the highest vibrating emotions and can pull you out of the darkest thoughts. 

You may try to meditate more regularly too. Meditating and various breathing techniques will calm your nervous system, improve your mood, and bring the feeling of peace and calm – those are all high-vibe states. 

A super quick method to ramp up your frequency is to shift your thoughts to something positive. 

What you think you become. Each thought, whether you believe it or not, has a direct impact on your future. If your thoughts are negative, you will likely find what you are looking for.

And there are so many other things to do: you can go for a walk in nature. Feel the cold grass with your bare feet to be connected and “grounded.” You can try to eat healthier food: whole, plant-rich ingredients that don’t damage the planet. And pay attention to how eating specific food makes you feel. And stick to the products and dishes that seem to resonate with you the most. 

You can also utilize the power of various healing crystals. For many years many gems were used to boost positive energy and vibrations. Stones connected with love and wholeness, like Rose Quartz and Amethyst, might be a great help. Wear them on you or with you or put them around your home to benefit from gems’ energy.

Signs of high vibration

Feeling of lightness and being in a state of the flow – that’s what you’ll be experiencing at all times while vibrating higher. However, there are plenty of other signs to take note of. The list includes (but not limited to) the following: 

  • You are empathetic towards others needs
  • You often feel connected and grateful
  • You are emotionally balanced
  • You are self-disciplined
  • You feel happy as it is without wanting or needing anything extra
  • Your body feels strong and healthy
  • You forgive yourself and other people easily
  • People easily open up to you
  • You feel confident in your abilities
  • New opportunities spontaneously appear to you in life

And another tip. Listen to your body and mind. Do you feel light and energized? Chances are you have a high vibration. On the other hand, if you feel depressed and heavy, you are most likely operating on a low vibration.

Why should you raise your vibration?

When you raise your vibration, it brings new possibilities to you. The higher your vibrations are, the closer you become to fulfilling your desires. The faster you are getting to that high-frequency state, the faster you can manifest.

People, opportunities, and ideas will be all coming together to guide and help you with whatever it is you want. And if it’s not a good reason to at least try to raise your vibration, I don’t know what it is then.
